About the opportunity
The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring all children and families attending the service are provided with a safe, stimulating and supportive environment in alignment with the Uniting values of being Imaginative, Respectful, Compassionate, and Bold.
The position includes supervision and assistance to the other Early years educators within the service to ensure practices and processes are consistent with regulatory compliance.
You hold a minimum qualification of a Diploma of Children’s Service and also have a sound discipline knowledge, including the underlying principles of Early Years, gained through experience, education and/or training.
You also have a strong knowledge of the statutory requirements related to Early Years and a demonstrated ability to plan, work and manage time effectively without direct supervision.
