Established in 2006, headspace is a well-recognised, national not-for-profit organisation making a difference to the lives of young people aged 12-25 years. headspace enables young people and their families to access information and support through a national network of centres and services, and drives community awareness and education about youth mental health, early intervention and help seeking.
eheadspace is a dynamic and innovative service which provides nationwide clinical mental health support online and via telephone from multidisciplinary team of qualified mental health professionals, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
We are seeking SW, OT, Psychologists or RPN for full time and part time opportunities.
The eheadspace Senior Clinician will provide clinical services to young people and their families, especially those of a complex nature that require a high level of clinical skill. The eheadspace Senior Clinician will provide clinical consultation and supervision to other clinicians and will work collaboratively with the Clinical Coordinator in planning shift activities and managing complex clients.
The successful applicant will have completed their tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline – either Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or Psychology (OTs, Mental Health Nurses and Psychologists need to be fully registered with AHPRA) and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience since full registration. Critical for success will be your advanced clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of mental health and related issues with young people using a range of interventions. Furthermore, you will have demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision and consultation to clinical staff.
