Program Manager - Family Youth Services
The central focus of this well-known community services organisation, with a passion for social justice, is to deliver a range of family violence response, counselling and case management services across Victoria and NSW for vulnerable women, children, young people and families.
As Manager - Family and Youth Services, you will lead a highly trained and extremely competent team of family violence practitioners based on Sydney's inner west. Reporting to the National Manager, you are an accomplished leader, and skilled people manager. You will support, build and develop this effective, engaged and committed team and in doing so, will be directly responsible for quality and service improvement essential to deliver valued service and outcomes to clients by the Youth & Family Services team.
While you will have a strong professional background familiar with the community services sector your primary focus will lie in your ability to lead and effectively manage a team in an exciting time of change and reform, responsible for:
· Overall strategy around program effectiveness, design and delivery;
· Service delivery & operations
· Team management and development;
· Stakeholder engagement and management, and
· Compliance, risk and safety.
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline is essential as is previous and demonstrable team leadership and management experience. Experience in the community services sector or related is ideal. Any relevant experience in the family violence, family and youth services sector would be highly regarded but not essential. Salary is commensurate with experience. Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
