At OHV we believe that every person should have the opportunity to change and grow. Our diverse teams work with individuals, families and communities to reduce drug use, improve mental health and reconnect people to their family and the community.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a skilled, driven, compassionate person who wants to excel in their chosen career and genuinely cares about their community. Are you willing to work together to make a difference to someone’s life?

The position is based at our Therapeutic Community (TC) in Lower Plenty. The TC is a 114 bed  residential treatment facility based on the philosophy that the community itself is the primary agent of change and support for each individual's recovery journey.

The key purpose of the position is to ensure payment arrangements are in place on behalf of residents whilst they are in treatment at the TC.

A day in the life of this position includes: liaising with residents and external agencies regarding payments, preparation and lodgement of appropriate documentation with Centrelink and other relevant agencies, responding to internal and external enquiries, maintaining client payment records and reconciling these upon client exit, and undertaking some accounts payable functions.
